After almost ten years of musical career “Allegory” is your first full-lenght. Why you’ve waited so long before realize it?
| |
| Sacha : |
The band has been together for a long time but the current line up and musical direction has been around 5 years. We’ve went through all the challenges a band can face from line up changes, financial and personal trials, along with honing the musical direction and the live stage show. I wouldn’t say we where waiting we’ve just always done our own thing our way and here we are |
| |
| Bloody Marha : |
How do you get in contact with Nuclear Blast?
| |
| Sacha : |
The A&R man Jaap heard our songs on our Myspace page, liked them and got in touch from there. Within weeks we had a deal on the table. Our deal was very ‘old school’ and honest in a way, we aren’t a trendy band or over hyped we simply worked very hard at our music and they liked that. |

| Bloody Marha : |
Talking about “Allegory”, why you have choosen this title? |
| |
| Sacha : |
Allegory represents the idea of using metaphor to convey abstract ideas within stories. This relates to our lyrical themes as they are all tales of human experience and the search for understanding. From sexuality to man’s interplay with technology to dealing with addictions and fears, the lyrics contain many layers of meaning for the listener to interpret and give meaning to the music

| Bloody Marha : |
Some songs like “Methodic”, “Modern prophecy”, “Strain”, are contained in your previous demos. Why you taken that songs? |
| |
| Sacha : |
We re-worked the songs and the demos where mainly to learn how to record and work together. The versions on the album are the ‘final’ versions we wanted to present to the world in general.
| |
| Bloody Marha : |
Can you talk about the video realized for the song “Plasma”?...it seems the story of Adam, Eve and the apple..could you tell me why you choosen that song and what’s the real meaning behind the images?
| |
| Sacha : |
The concepts are taken from the lyrics and are the vision of the director Doug Cook (www.dougcook.ca) along with our input. They deal with temptation as you observed, as well as the predator / prey relationship and the influx of disease through casual sexuality.
We chose this song as it represents the band well and contains all of our ‘signature’ elements: progressive / technical riffs and solos, time signature shifts, heavy death Metal influenced parts, melodic catchy parts, and dynamic / varied vocal styles along with the lyrics to connect it all.

| Bloody Marha : |
Is there another video on hold? |
| |
| Sacha : |
Not at the moment although that is a possibility if the opportunity presents itself down the road.
| |
| Bloody Marha : |
What are the main inspirations for you lyric themes? |
| |
| Sacha : |
Our lyrics are real and deal with the experiences we have as everyday people as well as the things we observe in day to day life. There are plenty of inspirations we see out there each day!
| |
| Bloody Marha : |
When will start your tour and in which country you will play? |
| |
| Sacha : |
We are working on coordinating tours right now; we will most likely start with Canada and then continue to spread the seed to the USA and eventually would love to come to Europe and Japan.
| |
| Bloody Marha : |
Leave us with a message!

| Sacha : |
