Tempo di celebrazione anche per la rock band svedese che festeggia i 20 anni con questo box.
Il primo cd è un classico “best of” in cui la band ha deciso di includere due pezzi per loro ogni album e non tralasciando i classici come “Minus celsius”,”The clash” e “The mess age” fino a “Degenerated” uno dei migliori pezzi del disco omonimo targato 2008,certo 12 canzoni sono poche per riassumere la loro carriera ma ci si può accontentare.
E ci si accontenta anche alla luce dei due successivi cd che raccolgono tutti i vari b-side,remix,collaborazioni (con i vari Michael Monroe degli Hanoi Rocks,Ginger dei Wildhearts e Dizzy Reed tastierista dei Guns N Roses),cover (su tutte Pet Sematary dei Ramones) più un pezzo nuovo “This i show the world ends”.
La portata principale però è ovviamente rappresentata dal dvd che ripercorre tutta la storia del gruppo con immagini e le parole dei protagonisti (la prima parte,”Jetlag”,era già stata pubblicata ma solo per il mercato scandinavo),più una sezione dedicata a tutti i loro video.
E per concludere c’è un libro pieno zeppo di fotografie.
In conclusione qua dentro si trova tutto quello che un fan della band possa volere,tanti auguri Backyard!
